Bang On in Bangkok
por AlexFor those seeking real adventure, then head to Bangkok for a real shock to the senses. There’s so much to see here, but don’t think for one minute, you’ll be in for a relaxing holiday. Haring around the city in this smog soaked city in the local taxis is experience enough, however, in amongst the chaos, expect to see some real beauty. Amazingly, Bangkok has preserved its cultural heritage magnificently. Pay and visit to Grand Palace and Temple of the Emerald Buddha to see why. These monuments optimise all that is wonderful about Bangkok, just remember to dress respectively (cover shoulders and legs) when you visit or risk missing out

Big Shock in Bangkok
por AlexFor travellers who have never been to Asia, and had their feet firmly planted in Northern Europe will be in for a big shock the minute they set foot in Bangkok. The city is 100% chaos, and it’s pretty disarming for those who expect to find any kind of Asian charm in this bustling metropolis. For me, my first thought was where and what to eat. And if you’ve never seen a dog look depressed, then come to Bangkok. The amount of stray animals roaming the streets is also pretty horrifying– The RSPCA would have a field day here. However, that said, once you acclimatise to the city, it can be a really positive and privileged experience that's both grand and grotty in equal measures. But best of all, is at the end of your stay, you get to leave
