Sarawak é um dos dois estados situados na ilha de Bornéu, Malásia. Está localizado no noroeste da ilha e é o estado-maior do país. A sua capital administrativa é Kuching.
De entre as principais atracções da zona podemos destacar: o Templo de Tua Pek Kong, é o mais antigo templo chinês em Sarawak. Além disso, poderá visitar o Principal Bazar (Main Bazaar) da cidade que data de 1864. Aí poderá adquirir todo o tipo de antiguidades e artesanatos locais. Outro monumento imponente da cidade é a mesquita Kuching Divisional (Kuching Divisional Mosque), cuja construção foi concluída em 1968, tendo sido construída sobre uma antiga mesquita do ano de 1852.
Além disso, poderá visitar a Torre Redonda (Round Tower) construída em 1886. A razão da construção continua a ser um mistério, mas devido à sua estrutura, crê-se que o edifício foi criado para servir de forte em situações de emergência.
