Xian é uma cidade chinesa e capital de Shaanxi. É uma das cidades mais atractivas da China, é o ponto de partida do Caminho da Seda, e é considerada como uma das cidades mais importantes da história da humanidade.
Uma das atracções mais populares da cidade são os famosos “Guerreiros de Terracota”, que se encontram dentro do Mausoléu do Primeiro Imperador Shin. Foi descoberto no ano de 1974 durante umas obras, e desde o ano de 1987 é considerado Património da Humanidade pela UNESCO. Tem mais de 7.000 esculturas de guerreiros e cavalos que foram sepultados com o auto-proclamado primeiro imperador de China, da Dinastia Shin em 210-209 a.C.
A cidade está repleta de atracções históricas, tais como a Muralha de Xian, construída durante a dinastia Ming, a torre da Campânula também construída no mesmo período que é um dos símbolos da cidade, saindo dela as quatro ruas principais. Além disso, encontra-se a grande Mesquita construída no ano de 742, um monumento incrível que combina o estilo muçulmano com o chinês.
